My first time painting League related fan art. I've never play that game before and i'm a Dota person...
It's good to explore something different.

Made a promise to a friend that i'm going to paint her a League fan art. Even though there's no deadline, i will try my best to complete this with joy.

So......

Karma ? Garen ? or Nasus ?

I will continue sketch some more poses of the characters and decide how to make the 3 characters stand out.

August Update

Many stuff happened during my past month. Recently i'm found my interest in Matte Painting and i've been stocking up tons of stock images which i'll be utilising them soon. Pending Projects and Art work are still on the go.

As for my next project will be a something special. I'll be doing a league of legends fan art/character.

Rough Composition.

Testing out Overlay and colors

I use a lighten on the layer and stroke out the highlights and darken layers to stroke out the shadow.

The result of listening to Dubstep the whole afternoon. Getting Headache already xD

lolololol i went a bit overboard. Just can't take this seriously.

Well, painting is about fun and relaxing anyways.

Pretty much reconstruct his lower body to look more better.

Overall for now is to add in more details and shadow highlights

Back to the roots! Ready or not, here I come!

As i mention before, i'll be doing Dota 2 related stuff. And for my Sunday, perfect day for me to relax and to paint something.

A very quick sketch of the angle i want ~

Fill in with basic color 

I use custom hard brushes.

Then use smaller hard brushes to refine and paint smaller details

Filling up more details which includes light and shadows.

Not very satisfy with her eyes, i will redo them later.

Slowly Getting there, i got an idea of painting her with equipment. Got the Aghanim's Scepter on her back.

Will continue this on Monday night. Looking forward to finish this :)

I'm having a bit difficulty for this month.

 I got hit by a car, and im having a broken left arm.

I kinda broke my spirit but....i quite satisfy at this for now.... so decided to end this work here. Maybe someday i probably jump back to work on this painting... but who knows....

SATinel !?

A relaxing Saturday for me.... what do you do when your friends all busy?

Yep, PAINt.....

Today i'll be doing Sentinel. Created by Dr. Bolivar Trask, who intended to use them to save humanity from mutants. At first when i saw the sentinel design in days of future past movie, it looked awkward. Somehow in the end i buy that idea, it looked unique and subtle.

And here it goes......

i'll try to make it slightly different.

Emily Blunt will always be my favorite Actress. I've even use her name as my Steam account.

I'll be really honest, I don't cheat and I never ask for any of this ......TROLLOLOLOLOL!!!!!!

So.....  i shall start paint another piece of work and i will paint it with joy

I painted the face by looking at photos of Emily Blunt.

Untill i get the face proportions on the right direction, i'll try  to reconstruct her facial features just to match her looks base of the photos. As for now...... TIME 2 SLEEP

I'm trying not to make the Megan Fox syndrome structure. Golden Ratio is very crucial.

Smoothen her face, still need to paint solid shadows and highlights. I've also repaint the hair in black and then paint out the shadow highlights, took me awhile to figure this one out.

And then.......to be continue again xD

Flip over just to check the proportions.

So as for the direction of her face is more a less solid. I played around the layer adjustments and contrast just to make her face stand out. Did some rough sketch of her armor.

Half way there, throw in some colors onto her armor just to get the overall feel.

Pretty much satisfying for me...

Maybe continue again

It has Begun.....

MKX videos are shared everywhere!!!!!

When i talk about Mortal Kombat series, all i can say is MK = My LIFE. This is the reason of my whole Life/Career of being Graduated Student of Games Art Design and Digital Media from Perth Australia, is all because of Mortal Kombat.

The 1st time i playing Mortal Kombat was during my primary 1 days. I remember my dad bought me computer with Windows 95 and the whole set comes with a few programs and some games. I've tried out Mortal Kombat 2. With curiosity during the ending part when the game goes, FINISH HIM!!!! I've simply smash the buttons every match. Untill..... i accidentally activate a Finishing moved.

I was ... speechless, amazed, full of excitement!!!!  This game blew my mind, and it became my favorite childhood game. I remember showing my parents with the Fatality moves and they're like.... mmm.. meh...

And then Primary 3, MK4 on the Playstation. I look at the graphics itself and i said to myself..... This is going to be my career!!! 3D violent fighting Games....

And then High school..... MK Deadly Alliance on the Playstation 2. I was checking out the Tombstones that i unlocked. There was a video about making Mortal Kombat and i saw the Concept Art works, my head exploded. My decision was there....Concept Artist. I'll be very happy if i get to work on the MK series xD

So today i'll be painting Kung Lao. I am totally enjoying this.
