Supp everyone. Just wanted to share out my fan art from Dota 2 which is Phantom Assassin. Yes it's true that i'm the one who painted this painting.

WIP Move Away

New Page for the artbook - I did tons of sketches lately but not sure which want i would like to paint untill moments ago. I found one of my old concept,

The concept is a about the injured main character which carried by some friendly beast. They need to avoid some dangerous area... 

Added some values Just to confirm whether i wanted to continue.

Added colors, this is something that i visualize for the concept. Is indeed very rough, I'll go into every single part 1 by 1 later.

After all the value and visualization, i begin to break down everything and start with the main character's structure and outline.

Added more light and shadows, smooth out the shadows.

Refine the values, block out light and shadows...

Added details on upper body, and i changed the shape and position of the right arm. Next will focus more on the chest to lower body and also the face along with the mouth area.

Basic background, i need to fill in the background because i work too much on the character. Just to keep the flow going, i also add some details on the forest area.

Project Pitlord

And recently i've been playing Dota 2. One of my all time favorite characters in Dota is Pitlord a.k.a Azgalor, but it seems that they still haven't include that specific character yet. So my next project is to create Pitlord my version.

So let's start things up with a warm up sketch of Pitlord.

After i got the idea and checked out some references, i started to create some silhouettes.

I made front and side views, my observation on the character designs in Dota 2, i realize that when i play the new characters, i feel fresh and new to my eyes although it is still the same character but different design. Therefore on my approach to my version of Pitlord, ill try to create something new.

Facial work up 1

And so since i like to draw pose, facial and composition, ill start to sketch more as possible. And this is the 1st one to be. 

Sketchy sketch

Started on a random rough sketch end up like this. I realize one biggest mistake, the direction of the wind blew her hair... oh wells.

WIP Lady Death

After i choose my final pose, i bring the sketch into A4 size canvas.

And here i go starting with lines. Since i roughly shape out the character, right now is more to line drawing and i begin with her face.

And slowly taking shape below -

I feel in the value and draw the outline at the same time, because of that i need to refine more later.... So far im getting the hang of it :)

After block in the head, i went for part of the body, and also clean up the face and added more details in the scars follow by light and shadow including the eyes area.

I've completed adding values to the upper body, after that is when imagination comes in. My 1st idea was that she's casting fire magic, and then the idea change into her holding a skull which i feel that it is a bit blend, after that change into holding a crystal ball and a man inside the ball burn alive... yea... kinda violent xD.

As for the beetle shoulder...i removed a few horns and changed into a shell... cause i need an area which the audience can rest the eyes. Next thing to do is more details, light and shadows.....

Half way to go to finish BLACK AND WHITE..... once done all the stuff i need to do, then i shall color the character.  Tired? yes and no... xD

Eggcellent ~ Done some of the eggs and eye ball... more to refine.

Color scheme.... I've finish black and white composition, just to know... 

I basically finish the whole thing including color. My friend pick one of them up there, and i've completed 80%. The other 20% i need to finish the leg section and close up of the character. Few more touch up and i can say i'm officially finish my third page for the art book. =)

For now i need to rest and continue last time tomorrow...
