That scene was really emotional. So apparently it stuck in my head last night and today's practice i shall paint her. I'm going to take my time on this one :)
Begin with a zombie pose simillar to the scene.
I work on with the background door first just to understand the tone of the painting so that i wont mess up the coloring. The door texture is done by pure custom brushes no filter or what so ever. I mask them with layers so i can play with the brushes to form the texture.
I fill in the gap after i completed the lines and sketches. And get ready to color with light and dark tones. Normally my method is create the value using grey scale and overlay with colors but this time i do it with colors
Very light render on the face using light and dark tones. The process is slower this time cause i took my time to try out the brushes which i downloaded recently.
Right now i shape in her shirt. As for the face, i shrink her cheeks a bit sharper and filled in the details. There's more details need to be add in but for now i try to paint another part of her body.
I would say it's 45% done right now... Rendering the pants and shirt. I also reduce the size of her heard. I'm going to paint her hair soon and then her arms and legs including the shoes. Render the whole body and can start adding details such as scars and blood and etc. As long i completed the body then i shall continue with the background.
HAIR!!!!! So far this is what i manage to paint. Somehow her hair looks kinda flat. I'm going to darken the back of her head and lighten the highlights and to make it pop out. Not to mention with her face, gonna adjust some face structure later on.
lol keep on painting untill i forgot to keep track on it cause i merge the layers....
