And then there's Lara with her VER 3

Out of nowhere i'll be doing the third attempt for the contest. This time i get to add another dose of improvement, i will put extra effort in dynamics.

My second version is more a less complete. I didn't manage to save the work half way for WIP purpose cause i work straight to finish.

Here's a grayscale version of the work. I transfer the image to a lower resolution .

This is during halfway of the process. Final version is larger and fill with colors. And again I've mention on my
previous post, the size is 3000 x 6000 and i'm making it's purpose as a banner display. Full version will be up pretty soon along with the first version.

And now..........*Drum Rolls*

VERSION 3
As you can see i made the dynamics on this sketch stronger than the previous versions. I'm trying to draw a solid movement instead of making Lara  looking stiff. During the process i drew her right hand holding the hatchet, and some how it reminds me of Imagine FX Assassin Creed Issue and the direction of the pose look very similar.
JUST TO MAKE SURE I DON'T CREATE SOMETHING SIMILLAR
i wanted this to be my original pose and i'll try my best not to screw this up.

Next fill in the gap. Block out the foreground, mid and background, including the character. I use texture brush to scribble the back.

Highlights and Shadows.......

*Continue Tomorrow*

Overlay and add stronger highlights and shadows.

Overlay again with base colors.

Same goes with the background.

Paint every section for color control. Overlay 1 or 2 layers can sometimes mess up the colors

Paint details on the face by using custom brushes

Skin dirt, scars etc..... So tempting to work on the hair, i'll do that later.

Slowly fill in more and more details.

Refine her hair, belt, strap, paint arrows, and more shadow/highlights on certain area.

I also play around the color balance and vibrance.

Tried out different color scheme. Reason that i put the logo in front is to know whether it fits well with the design.

Next with be more towards refining the trees and background.
